About Baltic.fund
Established in 2015, Business Hive Vilnius is one of the earliest startup incubators and technology centers in the Baltic countries. The main focus on hardware, security,blockchain, AI, fintech, and software startup companies. We are an accelerator and VC, growing the most promising Baltic and CIS startup from pre-seed stage to stage A. We invest in hardware and robotics, cybersecurity, enterprise software, fintech, AI and project-based blockchain.

Let's start with the country where we operate. Lithuania is a member of the European Union since 2004, and member of the Euro Zone for more than 3 years. According to the Doing Business World Bank 2018 report, Lithuania is ranked 16th in the world for having a unique and friendly business atmosphere, and the World Economic Forum places Lithuania as Number 1 in the most inclusive developing country (Inclusive Development Report 2018). It is estimated that the entire Lithuanian market has more than 31,000 IT specialists and over 14,000 highly talented developers (according to Lithuanian Statistics, 2016). Lithuania is seen as a good center for relocating technological jinn from Russia and the CIS countries. The number of entrepreneurs who move from certain markets tends to go to Europe and thrive and develop.

Our team is very experienced in this special market environment. We are very focused in this region after years of working with startup and IT recruitment in and for Lithuania, with some members of our team actually in Russia.


We are an accelerator and VC, growing the most promising Baltic and CIS startups from pre-seed stage to stage A. We invest in hardware and robotics, cybersecurity, enterprise software, fintech, AI, and project-based blockchain.
